New Year's Resolutions
Here are my new year's resolutions:
1. Do not use ANY plastic grocery store bags
2. Read the editorial page every day
3. Write to businesses that have bad sustainability practices. For example restaurants that use only plastic cutlerly would get a letter from me and it would tell them that I plan to avoid their business.
4. Write to businesses that have good sustainability practices and tell them that I plan to do business with them because of this (well, they have to have good labor practices too)
5. Thank people who deserve it--in writing
6. Visit a place in Alaska that I haven't seen yet
7. Make an effort to speak with old friends more often
8. Take the bus (in winter) at least once a week
9. Make a family reunion happen
10. Do some of the projects around the house that I mostly think about!
